Woke up feeling a whole lot better - forgot to say in Day 3 report, that the boat was a rocking and I had to go and buy some sea sick pills!!!
We had a day at sea today so after breakfast in Parrot Cay, we headed to Deck 9 and grabbed some sun loungers at the Adult Pool. It was hot but cloudy. The staff really do look after you and you dont have to move at all, they wait on you at your loungers and we took full advantage and consumed lots of cocktails :d: :spin: cocktails in the morning - now we are on holiday!!!
Had a dip in the pool and all of a sudden, flash/bang (thunder/lightning) - I have never moved so fast and never seen a pool empty so quickly!!! Shortly after, the rain came so we headed inside. Quick shower and change and went for some lunch.
After lunch we had booked on the beer & martini tasting sessions. Whilst waiting for them to start, we checked out the duty free. OMG - $9.95 for a litre of Jim Beam - yes please!!!!!! We couldnt decide what else we wanted, so pledged to return lol.
We headed to Route 66 for the beer tasting - the beer was nothing new for us except for Samuel Adams. We got Newcastle Brown Ale, Boddingtons, Stella and Guiness.
After this it was time for the martinis. One word - UUURRRRRRGGGHHHHHHH!!! I managed to drink 1. DH wouldnt waste them so necked all of them including mine - should be an interesting night
We decided to watch the show before getting dressed for dinner as tonight was dress up night. Tonights show was Toy Story The Musical and again was a great show.
Dinner tonight was in Tritons.
I had the starter 'Escargot' in other words, snails in garlic butter, I just had to try them!! One word, disgusting!!!!! The texture was soooo chewy!!! See picture below!
We both had a lovely lamb dish for main course, which we actually remembered to take a pic of.
After dinner, we headed to Wavebands for an Adult Cabaret Show with Heath Hyche. It was really funny and after a few more cocktails, we headed off to bed.
Tomorrow - Nassau
