Dropping People Off At Port

WHAT TIME IN THE MORNING CAN I DROP MY GROUP OFF AT DISNEY'S PORT? I KNOW CHECK IN STARTS AT 11 AM BUT I WANT TO DROP MY GROUP OFF AT 10:30 OR SO AND TAKE MY 2 RENTAL CARS TO AVIS SO AVIS DOESNT HAVE TO CART ALL 12 OF US.

since you're not on my cruise and challenging me to a place upfront in line, I'll be nice and tell you that we did a drive-by last year at 10:00 or so. There were 2 cars in line (in the street, waiting to turn left) and the car in front of us said they'd open the doors in about 15 minutes. They let us in one by one (checking our names/IDs against their lists) and we were in the terminal by 10:30. Dh took the car back to Avis and was back within 45 minutes or so.

Smart move to have 2 to transport via shuttle (and no luggage) vs. 12!

Embarkation starts at 11 a.m? For some reason I was thinking it wasn't unil 1 p.m.

The terminal officially opens at 10:30 AM for check-in. ( I know I read this somewhere, but I can't find that document at the moment.. We arrived at 10:35 AM for our cruise, and there were already at least 50 people in the terminal.) Embarkation "officially" begins at 1 PM, but usually begins between 12 and 12:30 PM.
