I am going crazy trying to save a few Disney$$ on our ticket media for June. The 10% discount for DVC makes the four night UPH a much better deal for us. (versus 5 day PH at Disney Store)
We are staying 5 nights but leave at 11:00 a.m. the last day. With DD 2.5, and DS 3 months, we will have our hands full getting to the airport on our last day. Needless to say we won't be riding TOT at 9:00 a.m . the day of departure. ;-)

Question: Is it a GIVEN that the CM will knock off one day of the UPH pass when we check in? I've seen lots of discussion, but I would like to know for sure.

46 days......

Last Aug there wasn't even a hesitation when I had CM at BWV knock off last day for DS and I - we were moving over to AKL on package and already had UPH there for the day. I understand that the only problem is if you book a room/ticket package, then you can't take off days - if you just have room reserved and are getting UPH at check in you shouldn't have any problem.

There was no question in February when we went.

I may be wrong but isn't a hopper pass good anytime. What I am saying if you buy a 5 day hopper and only use it 4 you use the extra day on you next trip. Like I said I may be wrong I never gave any of these type of things any consideration.

Pa@okw95, their talking about the LOS passes. But there are some limited passes that have limitations, usually expiration dates, like hte play 4 pass. Your are correct about the regular park hopper passes.

I have bought the UPH with friends at DVC numerous times and ALWAYS backed off the first and last day.

We did this in February and it was a HUGE hassle! It eventually worked out- I think the problem was the mis-communication between my travel agent and the folks at Disney.

My suggestion if you are not doing DVC and want to do this is not to even try with CRO or WDTC. Just do it at the desk. I promise it will be easier. CRO always wants to make it 3 reservations which means you have to go to the front desk and check out. We had an issue ONE time where the front desk would not take the first day off so we left. Early the next morning we went back to the desk and asked for the UPH for the remainder of our stay. No problem!
