Dropping car off after hours at Dolphin?

Thanks to the Dis I've learned that I can drop off my National rental at the Dolphin Valet in the evening after the desk closes. My question is, do you get charged an extra day with this? Do the valets give you any documetation?

Any Dolphin info from those whove done this or know would be greatly appreciated.

I always rent with Alamo/National at the Dolphin location. You need to have your rental returned by the time you picked it up to avoid further charges. So if you are dropping off after hours you will be keeping your car longer and will be charged. To find out what the extra charge will be, just look on your rental contract. Yes, the valet will give you documentation that is for your records and also for the rental company.

It doesn't cost extra to drop off with the valet as long as you are within your rental period. If you go over you will be charged extra per hour or per day depending how late you are. Remember to tip the valet!

I'll be picking up at MCO at 9:00pm so the drop off at Dolphin will still be in the 24 window around 8:00pm. I was just wondering if they document the time you drop with valet (after closing) or did they count it as the next morning.

Can you also have the valet sign something that your car is not visibly damaged so if something happens to the car after you drop it off to the valet you will not be held responsible? When you return the car to the airport, they walk around the car before giving you the final bill. I'm just wondering how to protect myself when using the valet for returns.
