Dropoff at Disney Springs

My wife hurt her back (sciatic nerve injury) a few weeks before out trip to WDW (we are here now). We rent a wheelchair at the parks and I push her from attraction to attraction. This is much to her displeasure. She's very independent and hates having to babied in any way. No matter what I say, I can't talk her into a wheelchair at Disney Springs. My question, is it possible for me to drop her off somewhere that she won't have to schlep all the way from the parking garages? My hope is that I could drop her off maybe near where the busses drop off resort guests (or somewhere closer than the parking garage) and then go park in the garage and meet her inside Disney Springs. In the past, I would drop her off at the surface parking lot, but they appeared to be closed the other day when we were nearby. We are most interested in visiting the World of Disney and Christmas Store. Thanks for your help.

Perhaps she would be more comfortable in an ECV than a wheelchair? Then maybe she won't feel she is being babied? If you rent off site you can take it to Disney Springs as well. Just a thought.

You can rent an ECV at Disney Springs for the day. I asked and you can rent in the morning, return and and come back at night and rent again for the 1 time price of 50.00. There is a 100.00 deposit.

The Uber and taxi drop off is near the market place. You could use that one. They use the loop that the buses used to go to . This still a walk to get where they take your temp and allow you in the park but not as long as the garages. This area is the market place and a short walk to the stores you want to visit.

it all depends on where you are trying to go. If you want a central location to all of Disney Springs, the garages are better.
