Drop Off at Port

I was thinking of dropping off my family and luggage at the DCL Port, then returning the rental car. Where do they get dropped off...at the terminal, or the parking lot area where the shuttles (Radisson, Avis, etc) drop off passengers?

As long as everybody in the car is registered for the cruise, you can pull up right to the curb at terminal-side.
