Drop down kid bed question

Do they have safety railings to put on the side of the drop down beds at POR?

My 5 year old will be sleeping in it but he tends to roll around a lot when he sleeps so we use the bed rails at home. Worried he may fall off the side during the night.

Any suggestions?

You can request bed rails. They have them based on volume.

No. I mean they have a limited supply. When they are used they are gone.

I think I've read you can literally request as many as you want, of course if they have any left.

only problem we had using the rails was grandson who didn't want them and kicked it out which was easy to do.

Friends used a pool noodle tucked under the sheet to keep their son from falling out of the little fold down bed. Maybe that could be an option if the bed rails aren’t available or don’t fit? If all else fails, can you move the chairs to sort of block him in?

We tried using the bed rails two years ago on the pull down bed. It sorta worked, but the rails weren't as sturdy as they were in a normal bed because the mattress isn't as deep or heavy as what you find on a regular bed. In the end, DS who was 2.5 ended up sleeping at night most of the time with us in our king sized bed. Not ideal, but at that age---my mantra is whatever gets everyone to sleep at night.
