Driving time from EPCOT to DHS at 6pm on a Sunday

We are heading down to WDW and will be in the parks on Dec. 15, a Sunday. We want to see the Candlelight Processional at 5 and then Fantasmic and Osborne Lights. How long do you think we should give ourselves to get to DHS from EPCOT by car?

The more I think about it, I don't see how we can work in those three events on the same day.

Any suggestions?

Not by using a car...
Walking all the way from the CP to the Epcot front gates,
then getting to your car,
then exiting that long pathway to the roads,
then winding your way (with stoplights) to DHS lot,
finding a parking spot,
getting to the DHS gates.
Will take a lot of time and effort.

-But-
You could walk or take the Friendship from Epcot's International Gateway to DHS.
(The whole thing hinges on what time Fantasmic! starts and DHS closes.)

From what I recall, it's pretty close, maybe about a 5 minute drive. If you want to factor in the time actually driving through the lots to get in/out of a space, you could up that to maybe 10 at most.

I can't really comment on traffic at that time on that day or if that's a particularly busy time, but for that short a distance, it shouldn't make too much of a difference, even if it is busy.

If it were me, I'd just park at DHS in the first place, take the boat to Epcot and back, and not try to drive between them. Sometimes getting into the DHS lot late in the day during the holiday season can be quite a zoo.

As to whether you can fit in all three items in one evening, you would need to look at the calendar for that date and see what time the F! shows are that day (hopefully they are doing more than one). The lights are usually kept on for a while after the last F! show, but I am more concerned about your timing if there is only one F! show and it starts before you are done at Epcot. That's what you need to find out.

According to the calendar, Fantasmic is only at 6:30, although the park is open for evening EMH. If that's the case, it is really unlikely you could make it over from Epcot to DHS. And if you did make it, it is unlikely that you could get in to Fantasmic--assuming it's the usual craziness of having to wait in line way in advance to get in.

But the lights would be do-able.

If Fantasmic! is at 6:30, you will not make it. The CP is about 45 minutes. The boat to DHS is about 30 minutes. That leaves only 15 minutes to walk to the IG, wait for the boat and get to the Fantasmic! theater. Not enough time.

That said, I agree that you could still see the lights after the CP.

I also agree that you should park at DHS, and take the boat to and from EPCOT.

Keep an eye on the DHS hours. If they are extended and an additional Fantasmic! is added for say 8:30 pm, you could do all three evening activities.
