Driving in the World - Which app?

Which app is better for driving around the resort? Apple's iPhone Maps? Google Maps? Also, what address do you use to take you right to the parking lots of each? Or is it better to just try to follow the signs? Our trip in September will be just me and my son, husband is staying home. I'm a bit concerned about trying to drive and read / watch signs to get where I want, as I won't have my co-pilot! I thought plugging the park address in and listening to directions might be easier.

I used my Garmin to get to MK the last time I was in the world and it took me to a weird backstage like shipping and receiving area. I would recommend use whatever app you prefer to get you to property, the just follow the signs.

I agree with PP's - the signs are laid out fairly well. The good thing about Disney is if you miss your exit within the world - the next one will pretty much get you back around to where you want to go. It might just take alittle longer.

I use my memory. I've driven around WDW so much I pretty much have it memorized.

Having said that, Google Maps would be your best bet.

It's VERY easy to get around WDW in a car. You only need to know four roads.

Word drive. Epcot Center, Buena Vista Blvd, and the Oceola (and maybe Victory Way. Everything is off of one or the other of those roads. You can add Bonnet Creek and Vista Blvd if you want to go to Ft. Wlderness/Port Orleans.


If you are staying at a resort, just ride the buses-monorail-boats. Fewer drivers on the road make things better for everyone
