I'm still thinking about going to WDW for the first weekend in March. The flight prices are kind of crazy so I thought it might be fun to take a road trip. That way we can stop and visit some friends in DC on the way back.

For those of you who have driven in March... what are the roads like? Is there still snow and ice on the way down? Any advice?

TIA :goodvibes

We drove down last year (1st time to drive).

There was snow until south Pennsylvania... and then it just kept getting warmer and greener!!!

We stopped at DC on the way back. Still warm there (relative to home!).

We left home at 4am in a snow storm... but jst kept going. It didn't stop until we were well into New York sate... but drive carefully and keep your eyes on the prize.

Many many years of doing this drive and the biggest challenge for us has been our weather here.....once you get to Windsor you are usually clear sailing. The last 2 years we have battled major storm systems trying to get out of the Barrie area....other than that it's been a piece of cake....we take I75 all the way. Have a great drive:thumbsup2
