Hi Folks, With airline flight prices being high, and more people opting for driving to the Orlando area. The DIS has started putting out information to help you make that drive easier.

To add to the information we already have given, I am going to start a thread for each state that Interstate 95 runs through. These threads I hope will be responded to by folks that know what is the best tips to help make the drive from their State specifically.

Please note these are tips that may work for some people and not for others. Lets see what we can come up with.

I am including the link to the Information we already have on the site for those to look at.

My family and I just made this drive. We left on 10/31 (Fri. night) and drove through the night. We had ressie's in Kingsland GA which is exit 3 in Georgia. This is 3 miles from the Florida border. My wife and I split the driving equally. We made it to Kingsland GA just before noon on Saturday. We stayed at a Country Inn & Suites which was very nice. We took naps in the afternoon...the kids went for a swim in the indoor pool...and we walked right across the street to an Applebees for dinner. We left 8:00 the next morning and made it to WDW in a little less than three hours. We had no traffic at all going down...not even from construction. You have to keep your eye on how much gas you have when driving through the night. Once you get south of Maryland not all the gas stations are opened 24 hours.
