We normally take I75 to Florida, but just did some online maps, and both suggest taking I77. I am wondering what you other Buckeyes do.

Thanks!!!

We are in Akron. Will be driving to WDW again in July. We take I77 south to 26 to I95. It really isn't a bad drive.

I guess it really depends on where in the state you are. 75 is pretty close to a strait shot, but may not be worth it even from the middle of ohio.

My husband and I drive every year from Columbus in September. We have taken both routes (I-77 and I-75). We prefer I-75 since we split up our trip and stop overnight in Atlanta. There is much to do in Atlanta. However, traffic is VERY heavy. The rest of the route is fairly easy with plenty of places to stop on I-75. I-77 starts as a cooler route climate wise (very scenic) since you are travelling between large mountains in West Virginia and Virginia and through a couple of tunnels. Traffic (and the climate) heats up through Charlotte, again in Columbia, a little around Savannah on I-95 and then again thru Jacksonville. I-77 is also a shorter route than I-75. If you are travelling from Central Ohio, Route 33 thru Logan and southeastern Ohio will link you to I-77 fairly quick. Hope this helps!:thumbsup2

We are near Cleveland and have always taken I-77/I-95. You drive through lots of states and it seems to go faster that way.

Draw a vertical line though the middle of the state, if you live east, take 77,26,95. If you live west take I75. If you are near the middle, take one way down and the other back and decide for future trips which is better.

77/26/95 takes you through Charlotte and Jacksonville. 75 takes you through Cincinnati, Knoxville, and Atlanta. Those 5 should be the main traffic concerns.
