I am pretty certain I will have to switch my Disney dates from Sept/Oct to August/Sept. We are arriving a couple days earlier than our Disney trip dates because my Mom's wants to visit her aunt. While we are staying with my Great Aunt I figured we can go to Legoland and the Space Center.

I'm thinking about renting a car and driving down, the airfare for August is like $16,22.00 for 4 tickets PLUS I have to pay them $400.00 for canceling/changing my flights that i had booked for Sept/Oct.

I was also thinking leaving 2 or 3 days before our original arrival dates to my Great Aunt's house to sightsee.

I have never been out of the areas of PA/NJ/NY to sightsee. Anytime we went to FL it was by plane directly to Disney. Not much sightseeing going on there LOL.

I'm not sure how many NJ/NY people are on here but if you guys can help that would be wonderful.

My question is:
What is there to do/see on the way from NJ/NY to Fl.?

I will be traveling with my mom, a 11yo and 8 1/2 month old.

Thank You

Baltimore, MD has a great science center and a great aquarium. Richmond and several southern cities are near Civil War Battlefields. Daytona Beach is great for NASCAR fans with the speedway. It depends what your interested in.
