We are planning a leisurely drive to FL this summer from the Cleveland area taking I-77, I-95 and I-26. Any suggestions on things to see or do on the way?
We usually just drive, drive, drive but this time we'd actually like to "see" something along the way.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Beckley, WV is about 4 1/2 hours from Portage County, OH and there is a coal mine exhibition and history things to tour. A little further around Bluefield, there is outdoor hiking and white water rafting. The next stop for something to do would be around Charlotte, NC, which is about the halfway point. There you can find many NASCAR race shops and the Hall of Fame. A little further, just over the South Carolina line, is Carowinds...it's an amusement park. Past that point, in my opinion, there is nothing until you reach I-95. There you have a string of beach stops, such as Hilton Head. Savannah, GA is along that route. In GA, you will pass St. Simon's and Jekyll Island before coming into Florida. Jacksonville is first and then another string of beach stops and then Daytona, before heading inland towards Orlando. I hope this was helpful.
