Driving from Long Island in Feb.

Hi,
My wife and I are bringing our children (ages 13, 10, 7 and 2) to OKW in Feb. We are exploring some options (using our 02 Windstar, renting a larger SUV, renting a camper).

Looking for any insights, suggestions, places to stay overnight, etc.
