Driving from Jersey...need recs for a place to stop

We are driving from Central Jersey and wanted to get some recommendations on a place to stop overnight on the way.

We live in northern NJ (Bergen County) and have driven down a few times. We like to drive straight through with a majority of the driving done during the night however, we have stayed over. We have stayed at the Country Inn & Suites in Santee, SC. It's a nice clean hotel with friendly staff and a free breakfast for a little under $100 a night. It also has an indoor pool. It took us 12 hours to get to Santee, SC but, that was with stopping for a sit down breakfast and a sit down lunch, plus gas/potty breaks and 20 minute stop on the side of I95 while I cleaned up vomit from the back seat.

We've driven from South Jersey to wdw twice. The first time we stopped at Kingsland Georgia. This was a long drive but well worth it as, it's right on the Ga/Florida state line so when we got up the next morning we only had a few more hours to drive. We stayed at the Country inn and suites right off of I-95. price was pretty good, I think about $70 bucks. I think this took about 15 hours but that's with us stopping for a sit down breakfast at Cracker barrel, a stop at South of the border to laugh at it, many gas and pit stops.

The 2nd time we stopped a bit earlier and stayed in Brunswich Ga, once again I think we stayed at a Country inn

In general we start very early in the morning (~3:00 am ) and try to go as far into Ga as possible before stopping. This gives us a very easy short drive to the world the next morning.

We've driven from Central Jersey before, but it's actually been cheaper for us to fly. It really depends on traffic and how far we would get, but we'd usually stay at a Comfort Inn. The last time we drove we made it to southern SC the first day and stayed at a Comfort Inn.
