Driving from Grand Canyon to DLR

We are planning our first trip to the Grand Canyon next fall. How long of a drive is it to DLR? We are thinking about spending a few days there also. Thanks for your help!

Depends if you are on the north or south rim. It also depends on the time of day you will be traveling. But, from DLR to the north rim it is about 10 hours. With stops for food and potty breaks.

It takes about 6 hours from Phx to get to the GC ... it takes about 6 to get to DL also.....so I'd agree w/ 10-12 hrs. Plus bathroom breaks....
