Driving down in the summer. What hotel chain???

I usually look for something that is newer or recently renovated instead of a particular chain. I’ve stayed at good Super 8s and yucky ones.

Super 8's are ALWAYS a gamble. We've had 2 REALLY horrible experiences and have decided to never stay there again. We love Best Westerns, they have always been good for us.

Going to say we call them Super minus eight. Rarely find a good one.

We shoot for Hampton Inns. We have always had good experiences. On our last drive down the front desk insisted on us taking a brown bag breakfast which ended up being a life saver. It had an apple, granola bar and muffin for each of us. Perfect snack in the car food.
