Driving directions within WDW

We have always used Disney transportation so never had to figure out what turns was the bus making or how to get from point A to B. We are driving this time and plan on driving to parks and to different resorts for dining. Is there a map that is specifically the roads within WDW? Or an app? Or do you think the signs they have are plenty to get us from A to B? I remember always seeing the signs everywhere but really didn't pay much attention to them. Is GPS helpful to navigate or easier not to bother with the addresses?

I think the Disney signage is pretty good, and you can get where you need to go with no issues.

As for GPS/apps....no clue.

The signs within WDW are very easy to read and clear. The first time I rented a car I took my GPS with me, but ultimately found it easier to just follow the signs posted by Disney. The GPS doesn't always know that a road isn't available to the public and may try to route you through it. The Disney routes may not be the fastest (but we're probably talking about a few minutes difference), but they are generally the easiest (e.g., not left turns without a stop light).

As for a map, you can ask for one at valet.

Skip the GPS,print that map as it'll give you an idea of which streets to take and a general knowledge of the area.That along with the signs and you can't get lost,even the signs alone will get you where you need to go but it's better to have an idea before heading off.

Oh, thanks for the map!!! I will definitely print it out in case they don't have one for me.

It does help a lot to have a general idea of the areas and roads handy. I do remember the signage being pretty good too.
