Does anyone know of any map and driving direction websites? I have been on Mapquest and Google Map, and of course they gave me 2 different routes :confused3 ! We are driving from NE Indiana to Jacksonville, then onto WDW. Last year we followed Mapquest- DH insists there is a better way to get there. Anyone know of other RELIABLE websites? Or better yet, how have fellow midwesterners drove to Florida? TIA!

Three letters, GPS. :thumbsup2

Go to AAA.com and use the online triptik. It's pretty good. AAA is usually very good on letting you know about construction and delays that may affect you.

You can also try:

www.randmcnally.com

That's where I usually go to look up maps. I haven't actually used a map from that site for a long trip...so, I don't know how reliable the maps are.

It does allow you to choose "shortest time" vs "shortest route", etc.....

Once you get to Disney property, you run into a problem, namely that most online map sites don't know the roads within Disney property. A good number of them aren't registered as actual streets with the US Postal Service, and hence the online map services don't know about them.

My boyfriend travels extensively for his job, and swears by randmcnally.com. He also says mapquest is the worst, and is inaccurate sometimes.

We are seriously thinking of driving this year. Where can we get a map regarding roads on Disney property? Can you call Walt Disney World Services and have one mailed or would we need to wait until we reach Florida State Line? TIA :)
