Driving around the campsites

Hi- We will not be camping this trip and I have never actually been at Ft Wilderness but I am thinking it could be fun in the future. Is it possible for us to drive around the campsite area to check it out? I thought this would be particularly fun at night and we could check out the decorations as well..Also, what time if the Campfire at?

Only those staying at FW can drive in (there's a security gate you put your KTTW card through to get in). But you can still come over to FW and take an internal bus through down to the Settlement/Marina area and then hop a hay ride. Great way to see the place, and especially fun in the evening right now with all the sites decked out for the holidays.
