drinks with a Disney gift card or reward dollars

I won't have a problem getting alcoholic drinks at the resort (POP) or at Epcot restaurants with either a Disney gift card or reward dollars will I? I've always paid cash for drinks, but would rather not this trip. Those places are all set up to take reward cards and such aren't they?

When I have a rewards card or gift card I just apply them to my room account so that way I don't have to worry about who takes them & who doesn't. I just charge everything to my room & then add the cards to the room & then pay the difference with my cc on file.

That is if staying on property.

Some of the Epcot restaurants are not operated by Disney and I'm not entirely sure they will take Disney reward dollars. I do think they'll take the gift cards.

I used my rewards card to purchase drinks in Epcot last week in France, Italy and Germany (three different nights, I can't drink all that at once, lol).

Our experience has been that if the restaurant takes the Disney Dining Plan, they will take the Disney Visa Rewards dollars for tip, extras & alcohol. So, yes, many of the non-Disney owned restaurants will take the rewards card for incidentals.

We call our Disney Rewards dollars our "DDP" (Disney Drinking Plan)
