Did you guys know that there is a new drinkable Krispy Kreme Donut??? (I think a milkshake)

Do you guys think it was a good idea?

I read every day how so many Americans are overweight. No wonder, with stuff like this!

We went to our local amusement park earlier this month and I saw they had "deep fried oreos!" Yikes... It was at the funnel cake stand... They must batter-dip and fry the oreos. Wonder how many WW points in THOSE?

Are you talking about the frozen coffee drinks? One is flavored "Original Kreme", similar to the donut (as they describe) and they also have berry, mocha and coffee. They also offer flavored milks.

The frozen drinks sound similar to the Starbucks Frappuccinos. Those come in some interesting flavors too. So, I see nothing odd about the KK variety. In fact, I have a coupon for a free one. If I try one I'll let you know how it is.

I think I will pass... the doughnuts are bad enough! My hips don't do that well with them as a solid. I can't imagine how bad it would be if I could drink them!! I wonder how many are in an 8 oz drink?? Half dozen maybe???

I bought this last night, thinking it was a coffee drink. The sign outside of Krispy Kreme said it was a coffee cooler. I remarked to my bf that it tasted JUST LIKE someone ground a donut into it.

Little did I know how right I was. The sugar stuck to my teeth and it felt like I had fur growing on them. I drank 5-6 sips and that was enough for me.

I love Krispy Kreme as much as the next person, but to drink it??? I can only handle one or two donuts alone... more than that and I feel sick to my stomach Ewww... perhaps not such a good idea!

Well I tried one tonight, the raspberry flavor. It was .... interesting. The Manager did tell me it's made with a powdered mix and blended. So maybe that "Original Kreme" flavored one is ground up donuts.

Anyway, it's not like a DD Coolatta which is slushier and sweeter. It's not like a Frappuccino with a strong coffee taste or more milky. The KK version seems heavier and had some bits in it.

Not sure I'd go out of my way for another but this one was free plus I picked up some donuts while there.

We got the free coupons and tried the new drinks. I had the chocolate one with coffee. It was similar to a mocha frap. My DH had the original, which was VERY sweet. Not really my thing, and I love their donuts (obsessed with them, you could say). The price was right, however.

We don't have any KK all the way up here in the boonies, but I love the donuts. This sounds....disgusting, though!!
