Drink refills?

Can someone please tell me if you get charged for drink refills at table service restaurants? i didn't notice last time i went...

We were never charged for drink refills.

I had free refills at most of the ts I went to a few weeks back.......I had only drank half of my coke at Le Cellier and the waitress picked it up and deposited a new one down......I thought wait I didnt finish my other one.......

They were free at Concourse Steakhouse, 50's Prime Time Cafe and the The Plaza.

There are free refills on soft drinks, coffee, etc. just not on alcoholic drinks and things like smoothies and shakes.

Yeah, I was wondering why they charged me for two beers!

But yes, the refills are free. Even the flavored soft drinks like a blueberry Sprite or something like that.

At WCC they have bottonless shakes. We were even allowed to select a new flavor to try for the second one.

I think it was a blackberry one or something. My husband got it at Sci Fi and was nursing it so it would last. The server just placed another one on the table when he noticed the drink was almost gone. At the 50s Prime Time, I got the Mickey's Be-Bop which was a cherry flavored Sprite with refills and the server even gave me a to go cup since the drink was in a plastic souvenir cup. I also got a three flavored Sprite at what used to be the Yacht Club Galley (now the Captain's Galley).

I'm trying to remember the last time I was in a restaurant anywhere (not just WDW) where I was charged for refills of soft drinks. The only places I can think of are some delis where the soft drinks are served in individual bottles or cans.

CS restaurants w/o self serve beverage centers don't provide free refills. Can you imagine the lines if you had to line up to place a food order OR get a refill? Most of us would never get to eat due to the long lines.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I was referring to refills in table service restaurants.
