:cool1: I have heard that since my last cruise, the drink plan... get a mug, etc. has changed. Can you tell me what the new soda policy is?

And for me, I want to bring so margarita makings on the cruise. Okay disbuddies, what's the scoop for the best "free" drink ideas?

My understanding is that there is a drink station on Deck 9 which is free all day everyday. They have cups available for use at the drink station. Soda is not free in the bars or when ordering from room service.

Yes, the drink station on deck 9 is available for free. Sodas in the dining rooms and topsiders are also included. Sodas in the bars are available at a cost (not sure what it is, since I just ran up to deck 9 for it!).

DCL has no problem with your bringing drinks aboard, so you don't have to "Hide" it. However, they won't knowingly take checked baggage that's liquid, so you'll have to carry it on board yourself. I'm assuming you like your margaritas on the rocks, just have your stateroom host fill your ice bucket for you, and mix up your stuff. They do request no glass on the pool decks, so get a cup from the drink station.
