Drink Plan Wrist Band

A co-worker was in WDW last week and she claims she bought a wrist band at a snack/drink location for $10.00 which got her unlimited drinks for the day. She says she used it for bottled drinks such as powerade. I was there 8/15-8/23 and had not heard of this or noticed anyone with wrist bands on other than the ones for extra magic hours. Has anyone else heard of this?

Are you sure she wasn't at universal? Never heard of it.

In all our visits I've never seen that, although $10 would cover about 4 bottled drinks a day, which I can't imagine drinking by myself. That would also involve a lot of time spent waiting in line for a restroom

I vaguely recall something like this at one of the wateparks - could that be it?

I also think this is something you can buy at Universal Studios - never heard of anything like it a Disney though.

However, last year we did buy a mug at Blizzard Beach that we could refill all day - it had a bar code on it and we had to scan it at the Self-Service Drinks Dispenser machines before we could get any drinks - this did not include bottled drinks though!

Oooh darn! I was thinking maybe this was available for World Showcase... margaritas in Mexico, ice wine in Norway, beer in Germany... Then of course the wrist band would have to have your resort name on it so they could pour you on to the right bus!

This is offered at Universal. Unlimited soft drinks for $8.99 a day, if you also purchase their meal plan.
