Tuesday, August 10th
I woke up very late Monday morning, so I wasnt tired, and Stayed up all night, watching Universal Movies, Such as the Mummy, MIB, etc. The weird thing was, I didnt feel like I was leaving. I dont know why, but It just didnt. So, Eventually at 5am My Mother woke up, and I showered and Changed, ready to go. We left at 6:30, and picked up my friend Scott, Who would also be along for the Journey.
We arrived at JFK Airport and Had the most disgusting breakfast ever, and then Just waited in the Gate for Our flight. One cool thing about our flight, was that we were on JetBlue, so we had the DirecTV. I watched Sportscenter, and then just slept alittle bit. We Arrived In Orlando at 11am, and headed to Baggage Claim. We got all our stuff and headed Towards Mears Shuttles to Make it to HRH.
After waiting about an Hour for a Shuttle, we Finally got one, and were off. We had to make a few stops before HRH, Since we were last. I didnt mind soaking up some of Orlando before tho. We finally made it, and It still hasnt sunk it that I am in Universal Orlando, The Place I've been waiting to go to for a year. We Checked in, and Me and My friend Scott were off to Universal Studios..
We entered through the Huge Arches and were still not feeling it for some reason. We entered the Park, and Headed towards MIB..
Men In Black: Alien Attack- 10/10
Ride is still Awesome. The first time I got around 800,000. We rode again, and I started getting better alittle. What ever, We'll be back later.
Next, Was Jaws since it was down the path..
Jaws- 9/10
Yet another great ride. I love to sit in the back and just mess with the skippers. The ones who Interact are great. But I hate the Skippers who just tune you out completley Like you arent there. Me and my friend always just act like idiots, because its fun, but either way, Jaws is one sick, sick ride.
Now, the Moment ive been waiting for. I walked past Earthquake, Beetlejuice, and made that turn into New York. Heart Racing, I realize, Im at Universal. Its finally Sinking In, and Im about to go on thier newest, most incredible Attraction. I see the Paradise Sign.. Pace gets quicker. The Metal Queue Enterance thingy, Pace Gets quicker. Then there it is. The Yellow Columns, the Museum of Antiqiuties sign. and the thar she Blows.
Revenge of The Mummy- 10/10
We flashed the HRH room keys, and we Entered the Museum of Antiqitues into the Amazingly Detailed Queue. The Light dim is great, and the Actors in queue, depending on who it is, can be great. Some of them just Stare, while others check express, lol. So we made it, and the Queue started on the Stairs. We made it up, to find Stilt Walkers in the Station, and those Creepy workers lol. One more flash of the Room Key, and we are put in Row 2. The Gates open.. and we sit, Pull down our harness.. and I realize. This is it. The Moment Ive been waiting for. Over a year after construction started. Its here. Its Now. Lets do this!
We left the station to the Thumbs down of the operator, rather than the usual thumbs up. We make a Left and see a Skeleton and the Shadow on the Stairs.
Reggie is then Visible
"Are You Insane? Get Outta Here!" lol, his voice is so strange.. Imhotep then comes out of his Coffin and Says "With your souls, I shall rule for all eternity" You then follow Illuminations on the Wall into the Treasure room. I noticed the Golden Kong in the Treasure room. For All of you that dont know where it is.. its to the Left, on a ledge all the way to the right. You should see it. We then Make our way to the Scarab room, which could of been much better. The effect of it coming out of the skeletons on the side is awesome tho.
We then get a Blast and go backwards and drop into the Turntable. We are greeted by Imhotep stalking us "Not Even the Med-Jai can save you now" etc etc. Then came my favorite part of the ride. The Upwards launch. Just like Hulk, but If you ask me, its much cooler due to the fact you go through Imhoteps mouth. The Coaster part seems good, even tho Short, is one wild ride. The fake station is pretty cool, but that stop is so quick and you get thrown forward, which caused trouble one day which will be discussed eventually. After the Fake Station there really isnt anything left, So im not going into Detail.
Overall: It exceeded my Expectations. I didnt hype it much so that I would be too Disappointed.
Tied for Favorite ride with MIB.
After, We decided we would hit one more ride before going to get my mom to get her to ride the Mummy. We decided to do Jimmy Neutron, seeing how its probably the shortest.
Jimmy Neutrons Nicktoon Blast 7/10
Not bad, I really like the ending tho. That is just Hillarious, and a real treat to almost everyone. I would recommend it to everyone just for a fun ride.
So we headed back to HRH, picked up my Mom, and we were back to USF.
We went right towards the Mummy. She loved it, and we had a blast once again.
Next we did Earthquake, and me and my friend got picked to do the Preshow. We were in the U-571 thing and made it look like we were in times square etc.
Earthquake: The Big One- 5/10
Meh. Easily put lol. The one part that I really like is when it looks like the other train is going to flip over on you. Other than that, this ride has gotta go. Im sorry, But this can be something so much better.
We did Jaws again.. No need to Describe again.
We came back to MIB and We were on the Red side. So there we are and we get a single rider with us. We dont pay any attention to who it is. So we are on the ride.. and After the Training area, this lady has 82,000. I was impressed. Well, needless to say, Im horrible on the Red side, so We got Destroyed by her. She rode with us again, and dont ya know it. It was the The Myth. The Legend. The MIB Guru. Bev. AKA Phamton
I felt so weak compared to Bev that night.. I was horrible, and Completley off game. It was just Terrible for me, We rode 2 more times with Bev, and we had to go meet my Mom, since she cant do rides that spin, so MIB is a No-No
Me and my Friend did BTTF..
Back to the Future: The Ride- 7/10
Now, as a big fan of the BTTF movies, This ride is just getting bad. The whole Movie itself needs to be Updated, let alone the bumpiness. I still like it, but it doesnt seem as good as it was.
We made our way over to E.T.
E.T. Adventure- 7.5/10
A good ride. The Queue is so beautifully detailed and well done thats its amazing. The ride itselfs animatronics need to be touched up, but still, its a great ride, I enjoyed it.
We headed to Hard Rock Cafe, and then went Swimming in the HRH Pool for a while.
Thats the end of Day 1.
Day 2 is Coming.. "Oops!"
