Hi,

DD and I will be taking our first 4-day Wonder cruise :boat: in May 2004. Is there a formal dinner where we will need evening dresses?

DD princess: has rung to say that she has just bought a "ballgown" for the cruise. Will she need it?

I've seen some pictures on the DIS of ladies in lovely evening wear, but they seem to be on the 7-day cruise.

Thanks for your help.

Lynn

The "formal" nights are only on the 7 day cruises.

On 3 and 4 day cruises, Tritain's is considered more dressy than the other resturants, but not to the point that a Tux or ball gownd is needed, only suits and dresses.

However, if DD wants to wear a ball gownd to Tritain's, you can never be too dressed up.

Thanks for the info.

I guess DD will just have to take the dress back for a refund. She has plenty of "dressy" dresses that will fit the bill, and probably won't get the opportunity to wear the ballgown more than once. I suspect she bought it because she's off work following an operation and was bored - a bit of retail therapy usually works wonders .;)

Thanks again.

Lynn
