Dress code for kids

Would my son be able to wear this sans the helmet and gun in the park (probably just for pictures due to the heat)? Hes 12 and obviously a star wars nut and was proud of making his costume for comic con. If so do you think he could carry the helmet as long as doesnt wear it? Only time we typically dress up is during Halloween Party where guidelines are more relaxed, so i wasnt sure. I did read the guidelines and it seems likehe should be ok in theory.

If he's 12, helmet should be no problem.

No guns, though. Definitely not permitted.
