We have tickets to this and want to know what the general dress code is? I don't want to dress up if everyone is wearing shorts or vice versa. Anyone who has been there, please let me know what most people were wearing.

We will be there June 22. Thanks.

Bren

I would like to know also.
We will also be there on June 22.
We will be going to the 6:00 pm show in section 103

Like a lot of the pricier places at Disney, you will find all manner of outfits there.

Considering the price, you might want to dress up, go out to a nice dinner and make a fancy night of it. And considering it's indoors, and air conditioned, you might want to wear something that will be comfortable in cooler temps, too.

As a rule, "resort casual" would probably be a good solution. The same sort of thing you might wear to dinner at Artist's Point or the California Grill.

I've been three times and have seen all manner of dress. Shorts/jeans/resort wear to business casual/dressy/night-on-the-town.

Enjoy it. It's a great show.

We were there a few years ago in the month of June, so it was hot! :sunny: There were people there in all sorts of dress, from very casual shorts and tees to women in dresses or pant suits.

That said..... we wore "nicer" touring clothes, DH in nice jeans and a polo, me and our DD's in a nice cotton short sets. We felt right in place. But, like most places at Disney, pretty much anything goes.....

Have a great time!!! I highly recommend the show!! :cheer2:

So if I wore black dressy capris and a short sleeved summer sweater and my dh wore khaki docker shorts and a polo shirt, we would fit in fine. How does this wardrobe sound?

I don't really want to go to dressy because we will be in the parks earlier in the day and then need to get our 3 kids to Simbas Clubhouse and then "rush" downtown so I won't have alot of time to "get ready". Our main concern is being dressed too casual but I'm hoping what I have mentioned above will work.

rgo22 - We are also going to the 6 pm show, but I don't know our ticket number yet - our travel agent has that.

You will fit right in!! No worries! If anything, you might be a tad on the dressier side of the norm, but totally fitting in!

You will have a great time! :goodvibes

Laff....hardly anyone dresses nice at WDW. I never pack anything but shorts and 1 pair of jeans and I am notorious for dressing to the T.

Act like a tourist...dress like a slob. Strap three fanny packs to yourself and kick it Disney style. Wheee.

I've been to 13 different Cirque shows all around the world and La Nouba was the worst as far as fashion faux-paux's goes. I dunno, I love dressing up for a good show and Cirque is certainly worthy. I wish people would clean up a bit nicer for La Nouba.

In a nutshell, La Nouba is the one Cirque show where you can feel free to wear anything you want. It's, sadly, overly casual.

I was there in January with my son and GD. Like everyone else has said you will see all manner of dress there. The only person we saw who stood out was a lady in her mid-late 20's. She was wearing bright red spike 6" stilleto heels and a bright red, sequined, metallic dress so short that it barely covered her rump. It had skinny spaghetti straps holding it up, but was cut down to her butt crack in the back and to her belly button in the front, with very little hanging on her breasts. Everyone was wondering how she was keeping the thing on. You could tell she was uncomfortable with it because she kept pulling the bottom down and pressing the top up, especially on the sides.

Sequins? Metallic? I would not call that sadly overly casual.

We saw all kinds of dress-we were a little less casual, I think I had on a sundress and DH wore polo and khakis but we made a night of it by going to dinner in DTD, Cirque show and then onto PI.
Casual is fine....your in WDW!

We didn't get real dressy, but nicer than our usual theme park attire. I wore the polo shirt I have on in my signature pic and a nice denim skirt w/sandals and my bf wore a short sleeve button down shirt w/khaki shorts.

People wore all kinds of things, I wouldn't worry about it too much- its dark in there and no one cares what you wear.

DW/DD can always dress up shorts or capris with a cute pair of flip flops. My suggestion would be a pair with some cute jewels or something on the straps. You can't go wrong b/c I've seen them everywhere even Wal-Mart.
DH/DS can wear khaki shorts and any shirt.
