Dress code for brunch at Palo?

What is suggested attire for Palo brunch? May we wear nice shorts (such as khaki's) with a nice top for me and a polo shirt for my DH? Or will we need to wear one of our "resort casual" dinner outfits, such as capri pants for me and slacks or khaki pants for DH? We don't want to dress inappropriately! Thanks for any help!

We wore nice shorts and polos to brunch. There were others wearing the same and others dressed in "resort casual" .

For our brunch at Palo's, we noticed the fashion gamut, from suits and ties to polo shirts. (Mine was specially adorned with 2 glasses of chilled champagne pured down the back...How refreshing) to medical scrubs, shorts and tank tops and sleepwear. So spin the fashion wheel and see where it lands. I am sure that whatever you feel most comfortable in will be appropriate

Palo is an adults-only restaurant (18 and older). On the 7-night cruises they currently serve brunch on the sea days. The cost is $10 per person and includes the first glass of champagne. You definitely need reservations and must make them on embarkation day.

The brunch is not offered on the 3- and 4-night cruises.

As for dress, nice shorts are perfectly acceptable as "resort casual".

Disney asks that shorts not be worn in Palo for brunch. We were planning on wearing shorts until we read this, then decided not to wear them because of the request. When we got to brunch we noticed that others were in shorts.

I just looked at my Navigator from December and you're right, they DO request no shorts. Never noticed that before! I wore a casual skirt but I did see plenty of folks in shorts.

As for the menu, there is a wonderful cold buffet with seafood, cheeses, meats, salads followed by your choice of one of several hot entrees. Plus they have breakfast fare such as omelettes if you prefer...and tons of desserts to choose from. You'll be STUFFED after the brunch.
