My DW and myself are getting a babysitter from fairy godmothers and going to artist point before a night at Pleasure Island.

What is the attire for Artist Point

Can I wear Khaki shorts, a collared casual shirt and brown hiking sneaker/shoes? Just wondering.

Dress everywhere at Disney is fairly casual, even at more "upscale" places.

You might be more comfortable in long pants, though. Jeans would be fine.

We just dined at Artist Point for the 1st time a few weeks ago.
We had tried to make it for several trips before but a conflict always came up.
We dressed relatively casual, khaki shorts, collared shirts and sweaters and had a wonderful time.
Hope you will as well!

I wondered about attire too - in Passporter 2005, it still says 'slacks' and no shorts but the consensus on these boards says shorts are OK, which is good since I don't wear slacks in July in WDW - plenty of time for those with our British summers.

A nice pair of khaki shorts and a collared shirt will be fine. That's how my dh dresses when we dine there...I usually wear some capri pants and a matching top. It's fine dining but not stuffy. You'll do fine!

I was told "Smart Casual - No Tank Tops, Swim Suits or Shorts"

I will wear a sporty skirt & pullover & DS is wearing khaki's & a polo shirt. Both of us are wearing comfy sandals as we are going to MK after dinner (if we can still walk after gorging ourselves on Buffalo!)
