I know that I've read that you can't wear flip flops , even if they are nice? They are pink and have sequins (sp?).... Are you allowed to wear sneakers? I'm not sure what to pack.

thanks

there is much debate about this, but here's my take. . . .
you're spending over $100 for dinner if its just 2 adults, so we like to dress up for it. fancy flip flops for women look at lot better than flops on us guys, so if they look like flat open toed shoes, they should be fine. just no jeans or tank tops. it just seems to bring my dinner down when I'm sitting next to someone who just came from Blizzard Beach.
I've worn sneakers with khakis and a polo shirt before if that helps.

I wore flip flops last year, but I also wore something nice. Its not like, totally dressy, its like casual dressy.

We ate there last week and saw a wide variety of dress. They say business casual, but at least 40% of the people we saw were in shorts or jeans and lots of T shirts. Dh wore khakis and polo with tennis shoes (we had lots of walking to do after dinner) and I wore casual cotton pants and a sweater set with flats. You should be fine.

Actually, jeans are perfectly acceptable under the CG dress code.

If they're nice thong sandals and don't look like something that's worn to the pool, there should not be a problem.

You're probably right. I'm just going by what I was told when I made the ADR - No jeans, shorts or T-shirts, business casual. The sign at the check in desk said that the dress code was business casual and I think the term itself is open to debate.

We were there last month and there was quite an array of outfits

We saw jeans with hawaii shirt, sneakers, sandals, cocktail dresses, suits, dress pants, etc...

So it doesn't look like they would refuse you entry if you wore sneakers or sandals, I'm sure your'll be fine with thongs with glitter.

enjoy your meal

The enforcement (or, rather, NON enforcement) matter aside, what I gather from the "official" definition is that jeans ( I think they put it as "jeans slacks"!), shorts, and tennis shoes are fine.
Flip-flops are apparently out--but I believe the intention is "pool style" flip flops.
