Dreams Unlimited ?

I have used dreams unlimited 2 times. Tracy and Mindy are awesome! Both times they have been beyond excellent! Any time I have a question it seems they would get back to me within seconds. and its awesome to not have to wait on the phone with disney to have to book a vacation or dining reservations!

If you use dreams unlimited you will not be disappointed. :thumbsup2

You are lucky....it would take my agent 24-48 hours to email me back and that was if I was lucky. This frustrated me to no end. I will never use them again.

This our third trip using Dreams Unlimited and I/we could not be happier. I say 'I' because I do all the planning...:) Our agent is Dorothy and she is the best...gets right back to me with any questions I have and with great information. She has also booked our ADR's and got us all our first choice times for last trip!!! Can't wait..30 more days and I can book my ADR's!!!! They are great!!!!

I recommended them to my friend. I book my own trips, so I hadn't used them. I knew WAY more than the agent. It would take the agent several days to get back to my friend. I was not impressed. Luckily, I knew enough to have my friend not wait for the agent and make dining reservations herself, etc. Then, the agent seemed miffed with my friend that she booked her own dining and didn't let the agent do it. (It was the first day she could book and wanted to make sure she got CRT, etc.) But, if she didn't contact her for days, how could the agent do it.

I am sure if you get a name of a good agent with DU, you will be very pleased. I think there are a few bad apples in the bunch!

Nothing but praise for DU. I was one of those that did all the bookings, ADR's etc. I started using Dreams a couple of years ago and couldn't be more pleased.

This Friday morning I had an email from my agent stating that my trip was now $700+ less due to the Disney Visa offer before Visa let card holders know. Our agent is very responsive & replies to our emails almost immediately.

On another note since Pete & the gang, with the sucess of Dreams, provides the Dis boards it is the least I can do. They also give alot back such as the TSM meet last year, the Dis cruise this past May.

What is the Disney Visa offer? I am using DU and wasn't told of this.

I used them last November and was very pleased with them. I plan on using them again for next year's trip - a bit OT, but does anyone know when I can book through them for next June? Thanks!

I used AAA once in the past and thought the service was horrible. Again, it may have been the agent, but I was not impressed. Last year I used DU and was THRILLED with the service. I originally went with them because of the price, I am staying with them because of the service. They booked all my ADRs for me, and I got every one I wanted. Including Le Cellier and CRT. They also had a nice printed itinerary with with all my reservation numbers and times. Both years they have e-mailed me after I have booked the trip and told me that a discount had been offered for my trip, and credited it to my account. This year it was $890!

I will continue to use them!

This was exactly my experience. It was very frustrating to wait days for an answer and if you had a followup question you waited longer again.

I initially went with Dreams so that I could "relax" with planning. But I had to re-do the ADR's because they couldn't get what I wanted. Then I had to double check on almost every aspect. I ended up with a nice Disney guest relations CM who helped me and that saved my trip.

I think you are right. It depends ALOT on the agent you get.

Yup, same here. It was frustrating and even when I voiced my concern, I got a "I'll email you when I know something" line back. I was not pleased.

I did not know that I could change agents. If you do want DU and you do get a bit of a bum agent, I would ask to change.

I'll continue to use another agency or just book it myself. :goodvibes

just a quick question about DU or any other travel agent -- how do they make money? Is there a commission invovled?

I've never used a travel agent for anything so I'm not sure who it works.

What I've gatehred from this thread is that they can make teh ADRs for you and they can get your package adjusted if a better deal comes along.

So its sound like it would be saving time and energy for me, but what's in it for them, so to speak?

Travel agencies receive commissions from the properties not from the traveler. Beth F., my DU agen,t made my ADRs and scheduled our KTTK tour. She also made a few phone calls to get a refund for a discount on the tour that was not given at the time of purchase and to correct the spelling on documents for DDs name. We also received an itinerary which was planned around our ADRs. We had a great trip and will use DU again!

Love them, trust them. Many trips have been booked through them. Love that it is easy to check the teacher rate at the Dolphin and Swan through them!

What is the Disney Visa offer? I am using DU and wasn't told of this.

The Visa offer was the extension of free dining through Dec 17 (or somewhere around that date). I used my Disney Visa for the deposit. Friday morning I had an email from DU stating that my trip was now going to cost $700 less.

I highly recommend Jason Klauber. He is very responsive to emails.
