Dreams Unlimited - Good? Bad?

Hi MulanMom,

I apologize if you feel I have been underhanded. I do not know who you are or your email address. I do not have access to any private information on the DIS.

I responeded to this thread by stating that I checked my deleted emails and spam folder. I guess I didnt give enough information. I checked back a week to see if there were any unanswered emails in either folder. I wasnt looking for a specific name...just an overlooked email.

I also apologize for not being able to answer any of your other questions as I have no information about your reservation.

I have used DU three times and this last time I was not as happy as before. The website was down and I couldn't access my ressie when needed. I also ended up doing all my own ADRs since my travel agent was not responding to e-mails. Apparently this e-mail problem was related to the website problem. The few times I contacted them I felt I was bothering the agent (after all they already got the commision, the ADRs are extra work.....). While I had a pleasant experience the first two time, this last time was not good and I will do my own arrangement for our next cruise. I don't think my experience is typical of DU though.

TA's do not receive a commission until the trip is completed. :)

I understand that. But they do not make more by securing ADRs or the other extras that they offer. My trip was last minute by Disney standards and I wasn't going to transfer my ressie to someone else. So I was stuck with what I had. I hate to feel like I am bothering someone when they offer a service as a perk. Either offer it gladly or not at all:thumbsup2
