I have a question and I guess it's best to just put it here as opposed to starting a new topic, but what exactly does booking through a TA get you other than potential on board credit?

Someone to wait on the phone on opening day if you're gold/platinum or using a placeholder.

For us, it's having someone to do all the contacting DCL for us. With our time zone, it can be difficult to get the timing correct, Plus it's an international call, so an extra cost. Usually when I want to request something it's after hours, so being able to email the agent anytime is a big bonus.
And they will do opening day bookings (as mentioned above).
