Has anyone booked for Fantasy? I was wondering if the rates will go up between now and when we're on the cruise? I'd like to get the 10% discount and obc but not sure if it will end up saving money if the rates go up.
I had the same dilemma this time last year. We had 3nt booked end of March and in late Jan I found a great price on a Dream cruise for Easter 2011. I didn't book it thinking I'd do it while onboard. In those 8 weeks, all the reasonably priced cabins sold out.
Now, when I want a certain date, I book it online asap, then rebook it again while onboard. As long as you don't book with a TA, the onboard agent can rebook it keeping your same deposit and cabin selection. The only chance you're taking is that when rebooking onboard, early dining might be sold out and you'd have to be waitlisted. That happened to us a couple years ago but eventually got early dining back.
Good luck!
This is our 1st time with GTY or inside on
It's our second cruise, and it was kind of a spur-of-the-moment thing. We went on the Wonder last March with our two kids, and had a blast (I think we had a blast - it was kind of a whirlwind).

I do have a question though -- I am thinking a FE would be a fun Mother's Day gift for my mom, since she is so excited for this cruise. Is this something for adults too-- or mainly for kids? Oh, I almost forgot -- we are doing a B2B -- March 13th and March 17th -- which is a total surprise for the kids-- they think we are just doing a 4 day cruise - which they are kinda bummed about
Can't wait to tell them on the last day of the 4 night that they don't have to
. I've already mailed a formal request to be excused, but I'm still a little nervous about it. That, along with a few other deadlines before we sail, and I will be seriously ready to spend a lot of time exploring "the District".
