Is there a way we can see a list of cruisers sailing on March 17th with us, and their ages, so we know what to bring with us to put in the Fish Extenders?

Also, how close until the cruise date should we verify how many things to bring for the FE?

Hey all - Kids are back in school so now hopefully I will have time to participate on here It's been so long - can't remember if we are on the FE list or not. We will have 3 rooms - 1 for DH and I, 1 for the kids, and 1 for my mom and step-dad. We are doing a B2B - starting on March 13. Time is gonna fly by - need to get some ebay done so I can pay for this

Someone could add each of us to a single posting or do a spreadsheet for this thread of who all is going. (It will need to be someone slightly more savvy on DISboards than myself). I've seen it both ways. Both worked out just fine.
As for the date, our experiences in the past were at about the 30 day mark it was soft "closed" since some folks were going to be traveling great distances and traveling much earlier than the cruise date to get to Orlando. (They wanted to make sure to have their FE gifts done before they started their trip.) I say soft closed because (in one instance of our own experience) we didn't even book til last minute and the thread folks very kindly allowed us to participate. Very late folks just seem to understand they may not get something from everybody, especially if other FE folks had personalized items to give out, or whatever. It all seems to work itself out.

To get added to the list, I think this thread is the best venue-usually we just put who's coming/who'll be in the room, what stateroom you are in (if you aren't GTY status and know it already) and the ages of the kids.

Thoughts from others?

Oh! Don't forget your door magnets and we should chat about doing a meet and greet on the first day so we can meet each other!

Can't wait for the new ship!!!

We are booked for our first disney cruise on March 17th! Bringing DD (6) and DD(4) for a Spring Break Getaway. Staying over at the Contemporary for a few nights at the end.

Can't get enough of all of the Dream pictures. Looking for new videos is our new Friday pasttime.

Long time no talk! Man I have been soooo busy and stressed - for a little bit there I was worried we wouldn't get this cruise paid for and we would have to cancel - but my we pulled it off Hope I can start checking in more often and getting to know everybody now. As a reminder since its been so long - we have 3 rooms DH and I, the 3 kids, and then my mom and stepdad. We are doing a back to back - which is a surprise to the kids. LMK what we need to do to get signed up for the FE ( we were at 1 point - just want to make sure we still are). Hope everyone had a great Christmas

This will be our 6th DCL cruise. It's a birthday surprise to dh. I just can't wait until our b2b in Nov to see the Dream. It will be just the 2 of us. This is our 1st time booking a GTY stateroom. I'm curious where they'll put us. Has anyone who booked a GTY gotten their stateroom assignment yet?

Also, if anyone is interested in a hotel room near MCO for very cheap, I bought one through Priceline for our pre cruise stay March 16-17 & got the Ramada Suites Orlando Airport. Dh is very picky (I should have considered this more when choosing * level.) and I don't think he'd be thrilled with it. It's a 2.5*.

Since it's a special birthday trip, I'm planning to cut my losses and book somewhere fancier but if anyone is interested, please PM me. I paid $62 to Priceline but will consider any reasonable offer.


I am sooo looking forward to this cruise, especially after our recent foot of snow. Only 10 weeks from Wednesday!

Thanks I'm sure we'd get through the night ok but I just know I'll never hear the end of it. He still sometimes peeps about way back in my early 20s when I booked us at the Quality Inn Plaza on International Dr.

HI everyone!

Just checking back in again.

I'm bummed that I didn't get on line right at the 90 day mark to book Palo - so missed it (I was in WDW at that time)
And then, I tried to add DD friend to the cruise and was told no go. (we were on an incentive cruise for up to 4, and when I booked I was told I could add later0
So for right now, I've switched out DD freind for DH. Sweet guy, he volunteered to skip the cruise rather than have us take back an invite.
We're all in FLA for 4 days pre and 4 days post cruise, so we can wait until the last minute and hope we can get him on the ship.

Love to join a dis meet. Not sure about FE yet, have to do more research.

So right now, it's me, DD (16) and DDfriend (17)

We are sailing without kids. woo hoo! So we will get to see Serenity Bay for the first time. Don't feel too bad for the kiddos. They have 3 cruises on the Dream in the next 14 months and will be # 10, 11, & 12 for them.

Since this will be a surprise for dh, I'm thinking I might just tell him the trip will be to a hotel we love in Ft Lauderdale but that I could only get decent airfare to MCO so we'll have to drive 3 hrs or so to FLL. Then of course since the Dream is in town, we'll have to swing by for some photos. Then I'll surprise him.

I can't wait. Last night was 7 degrees! I need some sunshine!

Well my day was just made!! DCL called and said they found room for DH so now he can cruise with us. Add to that a couple days ago I managed to get a reservation for Palo and thought I'd be eating alone - not anymore!



Looking froward to a Dis-meet and you can count us in for the FE!

As the Black Eyed peas song says..."I got a feeling, that this cruise if going to be a great time. that this curise is going to be great time, that this cruise is going to be a great time, woohoo"

If anyone is interested in adding more family members but can't since it's sold out, I have a cat 11C on hold that will expire tonight. (I started feeling guilty about sailing w/o kids. It would allow me to put dh and ds14 in the cabin, but there's no way to add a 10 y.o. Kids programming is full and they won't overbook, even though there's room in our cabin.)

So anyhoo, after midnight, it should show up as available. Price for 2 was $1229.76.

Has anyone booked for Fantasy? I was wondering if the rates will go up between now and when we're on the cruise? I'd like to get the 10% discount and obc but not sure if it will end up saving money if the rates go up.
