HI,

Has anyone ever gotten this package? what extras do you really get? friends mother is getting this for their family,,,,is it cheaper than booking things separately?::MinnieMo

I have it for my sunday trip for my 2 kids. You get PS at shows in AK & MGM (not all shows) Each kid gets $50 in disney dollars. A Free Character meal. Foe us its was $170 for 2 adults & 2 kids.

We have this booked for Nov. We had a resort booked for $810.00 with our AAA discount but changed it to this for $1830.00. So for the $1020.00 difference we got UPH for all three of us (2 adults,1child), breakfast vouchers for all three of us, a $25.00 Planet Hollywood coupon, $50.00 in disney dollars for DD, along with 2 lanyards and pins, and PS at 6 shows. It was a good deal for us because of the prices of the UPH. You can always buy park hoppers cheaper but we enjoy the convenience of the UPHs.

We booked this for next week's trip and the child gets $50.00 disney dollars, all three of us get a character breakfast (we booked at O'Hanas) then the priority seating for the shows. It cost us an additional $120.00 (I think). I fiqured with the $50.00 and the breakfasts it was break even...so the show seating would be nice.

The character meal vouchers include the tip. And once you add in the $50 Disney Dollars for the child, the cost pretty much evens out.

The big plus is that you can make PS's for the AK and MK shows, but only one voucher per show per person. It's like having a Fast Pass to the shows. You line up in a different area and you'll get seated 1st, so you'll be sitting up front.

But YOU still have to make the PS's, so if you are planning CRT, you'd better call 90 days out. (They need a deposit then issue you a credit for using the vouchers.) You also need to make PS's for the show, but I'm sure if there is room available, you could probably walk up and present the vouchers.

We only used the Lion King vouchers and yours truly got to lead the Lions. When we checked out, I just gave the voucher booklets to another family just checking in.

Did you pick up the vouchers and $50.00 card when you checked into your hotel? The only thing we received were the luggage tags with our confirmation.

YEs when we checked in they gave us the vouchers, and all the PS tickets come in a booklet, and then the $50 disney dollars - plus we chose to do the Epcot Leave a Legacy as I didnt want to go to DTD, and I hadnt heard good things from the $25 from Planet Hollywood... I gave dd the $50 which gave her so much control over shopping, I didnt have to argue about things anymore - if she wanted it she had her own money!!

I booked PS for Tarzan, Flights of Wonder, Pocohontas and Lion King for the Magic Kingdom, loved having PS for Lion King

I booked PS for Beauty and the Beast at MGM - unfortunately they gave me the wrong time, the last show was at 4:40, and I had a 6 something PS, thinking of going from Beauty to Fantasmic! It all worked out...

The best part, all the CM's callind dd "Princess" which I'm sure they do regardless of the package, but it was just too cute!!

THanks for all the info...just a few more questions...

what do the lanyards and pins look like?

where is the special seating in the shows?

where do you make the ressies for the shows?

thanks, wendy

The lanyards are wide, and they "itched" DD, I bought a few pins on ebay before we left so she would have some to trade - glad we did! They sell 'softer' lanyards, but I didnt want to put money into it (yet! *G) Mine came with a plane w/ Donald Duck in the plane, DD had a plane w/ MM

Special Seating depends. Again, when I booked the Princess PKG the CM sent me to make the PS, I think its with the WDW dining... (I would use the 800# that's been posted here - do a search! And when you get thru, I would ask for PS please!)

For Lion King, it was in the first 3 rows, all of these are on ground level, unfortunately we were in row 2 behind 2 large adults, but we managed, and they picked DD to come out front and help demonstrate the "Lion Roar" there are 4 sections, each section has a special 'chant'/yell then at the end they picked DD again to join the parade and play an instrument

For Pocohontas DD was in the front row on the side, but then they annoucned the front 4 rows in the front were reserved for children under 8 - but not for the parents, so I was glad to have PS

For Flights of Wonder it was the front row - but it wasnt a full show, but they did pick dd to throw a grape to a bird

For Beauty it was in the front 6 rows, we didnt have to stand in line, and we were escorted to our seats, the front 2 rows were reserved for handicap seating... it was a perfect place, and a beautiful show!!

SHe didnt want to do Playhouse Disney (I was greatful, not up to sitting on the ground! lol)

It was a magical vacation made more special because of all the advanced planning!!

So you get to choose between LAL and Planet Hollywood??? I was assuming the extra was minature golf like it always is? We already did LAL, but were planning on meeting the inlaws at DTD. I would love to have a Planet Hollywood voucher.

Do they have anything like this for older kids? My kids are going to be 11 and 10 and I noticed the Princess/Prince package only went up to certain ages. My kids are still kids....LOL
