This is our first time on the DCL! It's a Christmas gift from our in laws. I've been hearing lots of good things about the fish extender and would love to join. Kids ages are
2 sons-5,8

Robin I was also on the Dream in April 2011. I was with my God Daughter Nicole. I think we were on the same trip April 17 right

We also booked GTY...Cat 5E...but haven't gotten a room assigned yet
I know it takes a while and even after the stateroom has been assigned they can change it...still just curious and super excited

I added you to the list of cruisers in my first post and to the list of FE participants! Glad you joined us!
Once you know your stateroom number, could you please either PM me or post it, so I can add it to the online list (link in first post). Please check if I got all the information correct too!

We also booked GTY...Cat 5E...but haven't gotten a room assigned yet
I know it takes a while and even after the stateroom has been assigned they can change it...still just curious and super excited

Dania, on our last cruise we had a lot of GTY FE participants and some got their asignement as late as 6 days prior to the cruise. Just so you know and not get worried if yours is not asigned in the near future.

We also have a GTY cabin. Opted for a 9D this time.

Hoping for a visit from the upgrade fairy, but either way we will have a great cruise!

I had booked an 8B for my daughter and I with DVC points but now that my mom and sister are joining us, they wouldn't add anyone to my room even though it holds 4 due to the ship being "full." The DVC cast member didn't know if it was the deck at capacity or the category or whatever but I was going crazy calling everyday to add them. I finally bit the bullet and just bought up to a cabin category that they would take four people in. I had 9010 but now just floating around in pixie dust waiting!

I'm not worried but it's a really good test for me. I plan every little detail of our vacations...that I upgraded the Cat will be a surprise for the boys...and the room will be a surprise for me...LOL

Actually about 2 months back I tried to change our room for 4 passengers...we were going to bring Alex's best-friend. And DCL TA told me that at the moment all staterooms that sleep 4 passengers were sold out. However, it could change if reservations get cancelled.

Yes, the DVC cast member said it was technical as to the deck and such but they were happy to take my money to upgrade from a cat 8B to a 4C GTY cabin for the same four people! Funny how that worked for them!
