Hello! This will be my second cruise on the Dream (and second cruise in my life). we went in 2013 because our daughter wanted to go and we all loved it. next year she will have graduated HS and be moving on. Kyle and I are going to be celebrating our 25th anniversary and trying to distract ourselves from not having daughter home. There was so much we missed doing, can't wait for all the new firsts. The best thing of all the best things will be CC.

Hi all! DH and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary with this cruise! DH has never cruised before and I haven't been on a cruise for almost 20 years. lol Looking forward to plan with you all! :surfweb:

Hello!!

This will be our 2nd cruise on the Dream and we are excited to be booked. Bringing along family members who will be cruising Disney style for the first time. We are 3 adults and 3 kids in staterooms 7192 and 7194. :cheer2:

Hi Scott-
Great!
As soon as more people join in we will get the FE set up. I will make sure everything is posted here too!

Hi everyone! I'm Monique and just booked this cruise today. I'll be travelling with my son, who will be 15 yrs old at cruise time. It's not our first Disney cruise, but we haven't cruised Disney in quite some time. We cruised on DCL Wonder when my son was a baby. (He's now 14!) :rotfl: Our last few cruises have been on Royal Caribbean and Carnival, so I'm excited to finally be able to cruise DCL again.

Look forward to getting to know everyone. :)

Hi everybody! This cruise will be our 8th Disney cruise and 2nd time on the Dream! My husband and I booked this cruise to celebrate our 5th anniversary and we decided to spoil ourselves and book concierge level! Can't wait to meet everybody even though it's over a year away right now.

Hi there cruisers! My fiance and I will be going on our honeymoon on the Dream Cruise on 9.21.15! We're thrilled but also kind of nervous; it's our first time cruising anywhere. But I figured if you're going to cruise for the first time, cruise Disney!

Any land or sea suggestions are welcomed!

Thank you!

Hey Krystal,
My wife and I did the same thing for our honeymoon 15 years ago. We spent 3 days at the parks before the cruise, and it was the best vacation ever! Now we are returning for our 16th anniversary, this time with the kids (4 days land 4 days sea). You guys will have a blast! I suggest the parks first because you will run yourselves ragged, then you can unwind on the boat. The is a ton of adult only stuff on the boat and Serenity Bay @ Castaway Cay!

Don't forget to tell everyone (i.e. the hotel, the parks, the cruise, the airline, etc...) that you're on your honeymoon. You will get special stuff:thumbsup2
Congrats and enjoy

Hi Scott,
That seems like such a great idea; getting to re-live the honeymoon but with your entire family! I hope you have an amazing trip (both land and sea)!

We were hoping to do our disney world vacation first, but it seems the cruise first works better. We are getting married the 19th and cruising the 21st to the 25th, then doing the parks from the 25th to October 1st. I didn't think the fluctuation would matter that much...Disney has never let me down before! :)

Do you mind if I ask where you typically stay? I've been to many resorts on disney property, but am trying to determine one that would be best for our needs. We are renting a car for our land portion of the vacation, but are trying to find a hotel central to a lot of things to allow ourselves options. My parents own DVC in Saratoga Springs resort, but they said that may be a tad out of the way for us.

Thank you for replying, and I'll have to try to remember to tell cast members about it being our honeymoon...we'll see if my brain is complete mush at that point!

Thanks again!

yaaaay! finally! i was in a thread alone on CC. hello everyone, I'm Milly and I'll be on this cruise with my husband, my 7yr old daughter and my parents (her nana and paw paw). Our family is not new to cruising...this will be our 8th but our first Disney cruise and we're super excited. My daughter won't know until we all board the Disney Magic Express to the port...we want the WHOLE Disney experience. We've done Disneyland numerous times as we live 35min away but this will be a whole new experience. I'll enjoy cyber company for our year countdown AND I'm interested in the fish extender exchange (had to research that one). Looking forward to meeting new cruise mates and sharing in our countdown. Have a wonderful evening!

Hey Krystal, unfortunately our honeymoon was the only previous time at WDW and we stayed at Port Orleans. This time we are going to be at the Beach Club (because of the pool for the kids). Just my opinion but I think SS would be a nice place for a honeymoon, seems more adult and relaxing and it has a spa. If you're renting a car I don't think distance should be a issue as everything on the WDW property is relatively close. Plus if you can use your parent DVC membership then that's a bonus. I would say look at the different themes of the resorts and see which one excites you the most. no matter where you stay you should have a great time! It is Disney after all!
