DREAM Sail Date December 11th 2011

We are planning three park days around the cruise. Any preferences to Magic Your Way or Park Hopper? Any known celebrations at parks around our cruise?

Can I please go with you?
You HAVE to do the Christmas party!!!!! I'm looking up the dates right now for you!!!!!!!!!!
sorry i'm creeping on your cruise page.:rotfl2:

AirTran is taking their sweet time having any specials for when we need a flight!

What are you booking?

Just Palos for brunch if we get it. We have 3 friends sailing with us and it is their first time on DCL and another friend who is her second she went to Alaska with us. We plan to stay on the ship in Nassa. All of us have been there done that!:rotfl2:

We just booked it out of Newport News on Wednesday. They lowered their flights through Dec. 15th! Likely to be our last time on Airtran since come March/April they are all Southwest. Also no longer flying out of Newport News which was so easy for us. About 20 minutes vs. over a hour to Norfolk or an hour to Richmond. I do miss not living on the SF Peninsula easy to get to the airport and lots of flights! Sue

That's our plan too. I love Palo brunch!

I am keeping an eye on flights on AirTran as well.... booking for my in-laws coming from Indianapolis. They did just lower their prices by $13 each way, but I'm hoping for a little better before I book. Still PLENTY of seats left on the flights so hoping they will drop a little more.

On an entirely different note... I am subscribed to this thread, but I only sometimes get a notice that there's been a post. I wonder why it doesn't notify me every time? I always click the link to visit the thread after I get the email updates. Don't understand that!

Getting close to check-in\event booking time now, starting to get excited about it all. :)

Oh, without naming names as I honestly don't know if it's allowed on here (I know, I know I should read the site rules properly...) but a rival podcast and associated travel comp are having their reunion meets on Dec 8th - 11th so for anyone who's staying at WDW for a few days before their cruise this could be a fun little extra for you to do. (I'll be on-site from the 1st till cruise time and for 2 days after we get back)

If you don't know the guys I'm talking about, feel free to PM me.

Now don't you all go stealing the Palo and Remy reservations before I get to book at the silver Castaway club member booking date! :)

We'll be there from the 5th to 10th and are participating in some of the anniversary events. Looking forward to meeting some of those folks. We'll be wearing our blue neck pouches, so say HI if you see us.

If anyone is interested I now have the information about checkin when staying at WDW resort. If you have DCL transportation you will get a letter in your room the day before the cruise letting you know when they will pick up your luggage. Make sure you have DCL tags on them and not Magical Express!
Unlike what we have done overseas we are not able to check in for the cruise at the WDW resort. So we still need a check-in number and to check at the port. Hopefully not to many cc members so we can get through the line. Less than a week to check-in!:cool1:

We were able to choose from a couple different room numbers when we made our reservation. We are on Deck 6 in a forward room. Should be fairly quiet. We've already seen a preview of our room on the DCL forum on this board. There's a post with reviews and photos of lots of different staterooms.

We do, I don't have it in front of me but we are on the 8th deck.

We are going to Coronado Springs Resort also when we get off the ship.
Dec.15th-20th This is our first trip to see WDW at Christmas time.:santa:

We have three decks in the reservation. We just have to wait then. The last time we get our roon number late also but then we were upgrated from a inside room to a outside room :D

We are also going to Coronado Springs Resort after the cruise, till the 29th. Its our honeymoon!

This is our first time in WDW so we're exited what to expect, specially at :santa: time

No room here but hoping for an upgrade. Going to be at Disney World from the 17th until the 24th. Going from the cruise to Universal for a couple of days. Planning on going to Legoland the day before the cruise.

We are on Deck 6 too. We check into Port Orleans French on 15th and staying until the 22nd.

We're going to MVMCP on the 16th.

Still no room number here.

I'm cat 5E so officially I should be on deck 5 I think but who knows?

I'm soooooo jealous of everyone's pre/post cruise plans! We are driving down on Saturday and will stay one night at a Marriott in Orlando, mainly so we can pick-up my in-laws from the airport Sat night. Then coming home when we get off the ship on Thursday. Finances, vacation time, and school require that we do no more than that!

We have our rooms... Deck 2, 9b, rooms 2020 and 2022.

When you do gold folks get to do your online check-in/booking?
