DREAM Sail Date December 11th 2011

Hello from North Carolina!

We booked this trip last December on our first cruise aboard the Magic. My family includes my DH, DD (10), and DS (7). We can't wait to check out the Dream!

We are flying in the day before we board and staying by the port. We just booked our return tickets last night for that Saturday. My DH and I are still trying to figure out what to do for the rest of that week. We have never been to WDW, and thought we would at least do a day at MK. I am just starting to research where to stay. If anyone has ideas, please pass them on!

Thanks for the posting on tweens and teens thread. My DD will be interested in getting to know other kids before the cruise.

We did the FE last year. I am still deciding if I want to do it again this year. I drove myself (and my DH) crazy trying to get everything ready. Not sure if I want to go thru all that again! But the kids loved getting goodies everyday!

Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Stephanie

Welcome,
We are going to WDW when we get off the ship. We Love WDW but this is are first time going at Christmas time.:santa:
We are staying onsite at Coronado Springs Resort and was able to get the Free Dining plan.We also got tickets to the MVMCP that is going on at MK.
We can't wait for this trip!
I am hoping more tweens and teens will start posting on the thread so they can have a chance to get to know each other before the trip.
If your DD post something my DD will reply, She will be 13 this month.

Hello

We are booked for Dream, 12/11 and are so excited. Our daughter will be close to 4 when we go and we won't tell her until we go that day. We are going to MGM and WDW the days before and then doing the Christmas event after the cruise.

I saw on the posts about Fish Extenders and would like to participate. Don't really know how it all works but we want to experience everything.

Already made some magnets for the door.

Let me know what I need to do on our end.

Thanks

Hi everyone! Welcome...

This is our first cruise but we usually plan a WDW trip once a year.

Places to stay..... well I'm biased but I would recommend staying on property. :thumbsup2 I love all the Disney hotels. :goodvibes

We plan on staying at Port Orleans French Quarter when we get off the boat. Going to hit all the parks. It will be our first time going this time of year also and I'm excited to see all the Christmas decorations. :yay: We are also going to MVMCP. :woohoo:

I tried to get my boys to post on the tweens and teens thread but they are too shy. :confused3

I spent last night making a pirate costume for my daughter. SO FUN! It will be for Halloween and for the cruise. I'm just excited. Had to share. :yay:

Looking at the excursions and found that DCL has a new page for making excursions. I hate it!

How do I get involved in FE for this sailing?

Hello everyone. I am really new to this forum. My daughters (ages 2 & 5) are booked on the December 11, 2011 four nights/5 days Disney Dream. We are beyond excited. We would love to join in on the FE. Please sign us up or tell me how do I go about signing us up.

I need to amend my info slightly (sorry about that...I got so excited about finally getting on the FE list).

Donna - me
Tom - DH
Patch - DS
Jen - DDIL

Thanks for your patience....you need a cruise!

We got upgraded to an 8D. So we're in room 6176. Hope it's a good one.

Got an email that says we get a $97 refund from DCL for the downgrade of our stateroom. It's one of those that faces forward and looks out over the bow with partially obstructed ocean view. I wish they would just post it as an onboard credit. I can hear that massage table calling my name... :thumbsup2
