Yeah, I'm pretty certain that Pirate night is the third night, that's why we booked Remy for that night, my partner and I are not big fans.

Though saying that, any excuse to wear my Captain Jack hat...

Don't forget to save room at dinner on Pirate Night because they'll set up a late-night buffet on Deck ? with lots of yummy food and desserts. We love grabbing a plate of anything chocolate and relaxing in a deck chair in front of the movie screen to watch whichever Pirates in the Caribbean movie happens to be playing that night.

The buffet is not nearly as big as it used to be. If you have never done it then make sure and do it. We did like the crepe bar.

Paid our cruise off two days ago ! The little ones (DS Avery 6, DD Harper 3, and DD Ellis 1) still do not know about it -- we're keeping it a secret , and hope we can stick to it right up until we come over the final bridge to Port Canaveral! Living in Tampa, and having annual passes to WDW, we usually go over once/twice a month so we're just telling them we're taking a long weekend over at the 'House of the Mouse' .

Anyway, time to finalize all our 'activities' and let the packing begin !

Thanks, Sue! We are SO looking forward to it ! Our oldest has been on the previous five, but it's been about three years since our last and I cannot wait to see his face when he realizes we're heading out on the ship ... especially since he's been dropping hints about wanting to take another cruise so desperately !

Hi, my family is now sailing on this cruise. Long story short, we bumped up a week, originally going to be on 12/18 Dream sailing. We have a 5yr old and 3yr old and this will be our 3rd Disney cruise. We're meeting up with some friends for a few days at WDW after the trip. Plans are to just relax and enjoy the boat and each other. I look forward to chatting with some fellow sailors.

So once we get there at that time is that when they tell us our boarding time?

Kinda - the earlier you get there the lower the boarding # will be.

It really sounds like they haven't been all that strict about the port arrival times, but who knows when they might start. Are you doing air through DCL? You really could go ahead and log in and select an early time now, even before you know your flight time. If you arrive later than what you have selected, it won't matter. But if you wait to pick an arrival time, you might be stuck with a late arrival time even if your flight is early.

LA to Vancouver to Alaska trip and did not have the option of time at the port. We got the time when we got to the port. Looked like they had some times put aside for folks who booked air through them.

This will be our 4th cruise, we're arriving at WDW on Dec 1st staying at OKW. We got AP's last year and they are good until Dec 9th

We won't have space to bring items for the FE, we've enjoyed doing them in the past.
We're both looking forward to seeing the Dream, we can't wait to try all the restaurants and bars, see the adult pool and the Aqua Duck

I've been trying to book Palo for brunch but so far nothing keeping our fingers crossed we can get in

You really could go ahead and log in and select an early time now, even before you know your flight time. If you arrive later than what you have selected, it won't matter. But if you wait to pick an arrival time, you might be stuck with a late arrival time even if your flight is early.

That's kinda what happened. We land at 10:35am but the earliest I could select for port arrival time was 1-1:30. I think that's OK though because by the time we get our luggage, car rental, and actually make it over to the port it'll probably be close to 1pm anyway.

Hello from North Carolina!

We booked this trip last December on our first cruise aboard the Magic. My family includes my DH, DD (10), and DS (7). We can't wait to check out the Dream!

We are flying in the day before we board and staying by the port. We just booked our return tickets last night for that Saturday. My DH and I are still trying to figure out what to do for the rest of that week. We have never been to WDW, and thought we would at least do a day at MK. I am just starting to research where to stay. If anyone has ideas, please pass them on!

Thanks for the posting on tweens and teens thread. My DD will be interested in getting to know other kids before the cruise.

We did the FE last year. I am still deciding if I want to do it again this year. I drove myself (and my DH) crazy trying to get everything ready. Not sure if I want to go thru all that again! But the kids loved getting goodies everyday!
