DREAM OCTOBER 14, 2012 4 Night Bahamas~If You Can DREAM it...

Sorry, forgot to add. We don't know our room number yet.

But would love to participate in the FE. Will there be a cut off on the number of people?

Done! If you get other info and you want it added, just shout! Don't forget the facebook page also. Even the kids can join in there as it is private.

If there are a lot of people participating in the FE, we can always split it into 2 groups. I, personally think 20 families is enough to plan and handle but this group can decide together. We make our rules! :thumbsup2

Thank you! I agree about splitting up for more than 20 families. We've done this before and 20 families were plenty for us. I have a friend who just did the FEs on the Dream a few months ago and they had over 40 families and she almost dropped out of it because it was almost two overwhelming. I'm excited to meet everyone. I don't recognize anyone from our last cruise which would have been in October of 2009 on the Wonder. If anyone remembers us, please let me know!

I like it! I am just thinking about FE and what I could do with it.

Hmmmm... I never thought of that... If you could figure out how to make those pillows on the beds I would even change over to FE. LOL

I've got a few ideas for FE. Are you or is someone "handling" (for lack of a better word) the FE for this cruise?

That would be me! Hi! :yay: This will be my first time doing it though but moms is guiding me through it.

We would love your input though. :cool1: I've only done it the one time and like i said it was 20 families. We just did family gifts and I now understand that some do per person or kids and adults etc. That seems a bit too much for me but I'm ok with what everyone wants to do.

Is anyone planning on doing Palo or Remy?

We are thinking about Palo for brunch. I have done dinner and tea before and loved both.

I'm not sure I'm adventureous enough for Remy. :confused3

Thanks moms! :flower3:

As for my input... whatever keeps the boat afloat. I do agree with the splitting into 20 families if it gets to be too much. I read somewhere where there was over 100 families in FE on one cruise! OMG what a nightmare that must have been! :scared1::eek::scared1:

I think you would spend so much time delivering and collecting that it would take the specialness out of it.

We too are wanting to do Palo for Brunch. Our group will have 9 adults in it, plus 3 kids. Brunch would be easier for everyone to do so we don't miss a dinner service and the kids can eat in the clubs.

Plus we've had the brunch before during our Alaskan cruise - it was spectacular. Way better than the dinner at Palo (which was good) but the brunch just was so much better.

That is a very smart idea!

I hope we get to go to Palo's for brunch! I've heard it's really good!

I heard it was super expensive but their food and wine was good, but I dunno if I could pay that much if I didn't know whether or not I positively liked the food. I do want to try Ratatouille at some point in my life though.

Really? That is great to hear! :thumbsup2 I will miss the chocolate soufle but I suppose I will survive that. What was your favorite foods at the brunch?

Well... I'm not going to be all negative and stuff... but it is REAL food and not junk food and it has lots of sauces and stuff.... :confused3 Maybe next time when you have at least tried some new foods in the MDR's.

I was on another message board website... :confused3 and they said Pirate night is on Nassau night and I thought it was on CC night....

Please clarify oh wise ones! :worship:

*cries* But Mooooooooom, I do eat REAL food. I had spaghetti with chicken today. I even cooked it all by myself and it was WHOLE WHEAT spaghetti! :rotfl:

I really do look forward to trying the glazed duck though. Great now I'm hungry.

I checked the DCL website and it says to check the navigator in your staterooms. All the navigators that I have seen say it's on CC day as well. Maybe they have changed it? This calls for more research. :surfweb:
