I called the number that is listed in the FAQ sticky at the top. The other information I received was that most of the time GTY will be assigned within 2 weeks but it may not be until the day we arrive at port

I was told I wouldn't get mine until we arrived at the port, but I kept checking anyway and it got about 2 or 3 weeks ago. We also heard they would be showing Muppets so we have held off until we can see it for FREE on the ship!

What exactly is a FE exchange? I think we know.....this is our 2nd Disney Cruise and got a lot of gifts at our cabin door when we returned to our cabin. Tried to find who they were for w/ no help from staff. Would love to participate and return the great treats we received!

Welcome my 2 little mermaids! So glad to have you on board! My 11 year old daughter is thrilled there is finally another 11 year old to hang with. If you send me an email to youngjunkmail@gmail.com - I will send you my correct email so the kids can start emailing each other (if you want of course)

Myself, Husband and 7 year old son from Chicago are going on the cruise and we thought it might be fun for him (and us) to try and make a friend before we sail.

We are going to have a meet at the Bon voyage lounge at 3pm before the muster drill. It is on the third deck in the main atrium.

Please include us in the FE exchange and will be at the the meet and greet. We are so excited!! We are in cabin 9042....It's myself: Deirdre (mom), DM "Nanny Sally", DD's Madeline 11 and Hailey 5. Any helpful hints are greatly appreciated!!
This is our 3rd Disney Cruise.....however this our first belonging to the DIS group and my girls are so excited to participate in the FE exchange and meet new friends!!

Is anyone staying over in the Port Canaveral area before the cruise leaves? I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to where to stay.

We aren't going to do FE this time, but I am going to plan to be at the meet - IF it doesn't conflict with the spa give-aways!

We are going to need to take our name off the FE list. After two weeks of being sick I was diagnoised with Pneumonia today. We are spending the week prior to the cruise at Disney so I need to rest as much as possible between now and then. Not to mention I haven't been able to do any preparing for this trip. Thanks for understanding. We look forward to spending a great time with you all!

Snow storm here in the mountains of Colorado! I'm finishing up FE gifts, but wondered if we have a 'final' list?
Can't wait for that Florida/Bahamas sunshine!

I posted a final list on 1/2, however one family has pulled out and another has asked to join, so I have updated.

With only 2 1/2 weeks until our cruise, we do need to close the list now though.

The only changes I will be making to the list from this point on are cabin numbers (or corrections if I've made mistakes!).

Feel free to make extras just in case anyone asks to join in late - while I won't be officially adding them to our group, anyone who wants to deliver gifts to them is welcome to!

I am going crazy not knowing my stateroom assignment. I called Disney again today. The cast member was surprised that we were not assigned yet but then she stated "Because you are VGT-GTY the stateroom will not be assigned until you sign in at port. I don't think I will stop checking everyday. But I might stop checking every hour. If someone else would like to see if they get an opposing answer the number is 1-888-325-2500.

If you have a gty and aren't able to find out your room numbers until the day of the cruise, please stop by the meet so we can make sure we right them down! =)

maybe gty people can just attach a note to their FE gifts stating their room assignment. that way we can make sure they get their packages
