[Newbie Cruiser]

We saw Bruce Valanche at dinner at Animator's Palate Friday evening, his table was diagonal from ours. He also ended up in front of us during the fireworks. LOL

We had a great time! Thank you to everyone for the great FE gifts, especially all of you that gave Chloe princess stuff and to Wendy&Grumpy for the Capt Morgan!

Thanks for all the fe gifts. esp the homemade ones and magnets. we loved them all. this was a gr8 cruise! nice weather. DS (9) barely left the lab food was horrible but our servers were amazing!!!! last cruise food was much better. my ds (3) keeps saying everday that he wants to go back on the mickey boat not happy to back in the cold weather. saw bruce villanch pract everytime i got into elevator lol

I know I'm late, but I just joined the DIS and wanted to know others' opinions.

Our cruise was the 1 year anniversary of the maiden voyage (1/26/11) and we were really hoping that they would do something special.

Cruise director singing 1/3 of the happy birthday song on the PA system? Not special.

Was anyone else hoping for a little 1 year anniversary magic?
