Dream interpretation

Sweet pancake: I was stuck between floors in an elevator as s kid too! I have never forgotten that and typically use stairs if/when I can in most buildings .. up to like 3 floors.
That was a terrible experience as a young kid!

Yes, that's exactly what happened to me! Luckily we weren't even in there for very long. Ironically we had gone to visit my aunt at work (who is also VERY claustrophobic) She had ridden on that elevator for 20 some years and NEVER got stuck until that day.

So, strange as it seems, lately I have been having a lot of dreams about toilets LOL

I do believe to a certain extent that dreams are the brains way of sorting things out. So, I looked up a dream interpretation website and it said if you dream of a toilet, it means you have something that you want to let go of, in the way of emotions, or you're keeping something bottled up.

This is 100% accurate. I do keep certain things unsaid because I know there would be a lot of cleaning up to do if I said them.

Do you have a recurring theme in your dreams and have you looked it up?
You have crap you have to get rid of.

I would say the most weird reoccurring dream I have, is I dream that I am being chased, but I never see who is chasing me. I run and I am tying to escape and I go through all these secret doors and passageways trying to elude them. I never see who is chasing me though. I hate when I have these dreams, because they are exhausting. It's like I'm running away the whole night. I did look up someone chasing me and it said that it could be anxiety, which I have. Not sure about the secret passageways and secret rooms though.
Things you need to face with the secret rooms.

I don't remember most of my dreams, and rarely analyze the ones that I do (unless it was exceptionally weird!). I have had two dreams that, while I didn't have to use Google to interpret them, will always be special to me.
  • My Grammy passed away in June 2001. I was only 17 at the time and a mess of emotions because she was the first person close to me to die. I knew she had suffered horribly from lung cancer and that she was on hospice (but had no clue what that even was then), and didn't realize that her passing was actually a blessing for her. But, like I said before, I was a mess of emotions and anger, for some reason, topped that list. In the early morning hours of the day we were burying her, I had a dream that our entire family was in the funeral home when my Grammy suddenly sat up in her coffin, looked at me and said, "It's okay. I'm okay. I'm not in pain anymore, I'm okay now."
  • June 2008 I found out that I was pregnant. I had broken things off with her father literally 22 hours before I took the pregnancy test (I took my birth control pill like clockwork, and only took the test to prove my best friend wrong as she was insistent that I was pregnant -- she won that one!). I was with him for nearly 5 disastrous years, so ending it was for the best; I literally felt like a weight had been lifted from me. I wasn't concerned that I was 25, single, and pregnant. I knew that I was strong enough to raise a child on my own (though admittedly naive about just how difficult single parenting was going to be). I was, however, worried over what my Gampy would think of the whole situation. He had passed away in October 2004 and was my idol. For whatever reason, I was terrified that he'd be horrified that I was single and pregnant. In early July of that same year, I had a dream with just him: he was holding a neon pink poster board that said "Congratulations!" on it. I woke up in tears, had goosebumps everywhere, and knew then and there (at 7 weeks pregnant) that I was having a girl and he was happy about it.

You sound like you know what you're talking about. If you don't mind, I'm going to describe the toilets LOL..does it mean something specific?

When I find a toilet in my dream..I'm never looking for one to use, it just seems like they always appear. One time, it was overflowing with water while I was sitting down and the seat was floating in the water (it was clean), another time I was in a stall and the person beside me hadn't a big message and it was coming closer to my feet. There was a third time but it has just slipped my mind. I know there was some reason why I couldn't use it.. it's so bizarre.

I get one when I am back in University and I realize that I have an exam for a class I haven't attended all year.

I also get the teeth one but it involves brace and metal pieces falling out. Wierd since I got my braces off in the late 80s.

Yup. Or as they said years and years and years ago on SNL..."Sometimes a banana, is just a banana, Anna".

I had an odd dream last night. I was going to a "spa" Dentist.
In the Dream, the waiting room was outdoors, on a white sand beach around a lagoon with very blue water.

The Dentist came and offered me a Brandy while I waited. Then a new employee came out and asked the Dentist if it was really a good idea for patients to be drinking before a dental procedure.
Then I went inside to where the treatment rooms were, along a long hall with dark wood paneling and carved wood pillars. Outside each treatment room was a Grandfather Clock, and no two Grandfather Clocks were the same.
Then I woke up.
I am in the middle of 2 crown installations, and a Spa Dentist did open around the corner, but I have no clue what triggered this. And I don't drink Brandy.
Interesting! In March I went to Cancun specifically to have dental work done ("dental tourism" is getting to be quite a thing now) and IRL it was pretty much the way you describe it, but with a tropical drink instead of brandy and without the killjoy. ;)

Ever since I had my accident, many of my dreams are of my youth. I am actually a teenager in them and many of the people are from my youth too.

Sounds like you have no problem finding ways to get rid of detritus in your life,i.e.,the toilets always appearing.Seeing clean water is always a good thing. The overflowing toilet could mean you needed to find another way to remedy your problem.Cool stuff you dream about!

When I got out of the Navy, I had a recurring dream for like 5years, it was always the same theme, for some reason or the other, I decided to reenlist in the Navy, then as soon as I signed I was thinking, "OH MY whats did I just do "

Thankyou for your service
