"Dream"ing of Spring break March 27, 2015

Anyone have a tween that will be going to Edge? Izabella is an only child and it would be a lot more fun if she had at least talked with someone before we go!

My Boy (12.5) will be there. He is an only child, too and usually finds one, good new friend to hang out with on the cruise. Maybe they'll get along!

Just booked about an hour ago. It's me-Stephanie (21st DCL cruise), DH-Peter (19th DCL cruise), DD-Kayla (10) (16th DCL cruise). Too late for FE? I know it's only a 3 night, but we have done FE off and on during our cruises. DH thinks I am crazy, but DD and I have fun. We will be racing to the port as DH has to work Fri am. Good thing we are just over an hour away. DD has no idea we are sneaking in a quick spring break trip.

FYI-hubby has already seen the new Cinderella. He said it's fantastic. Not sure how we will hold off seeing until our cruise. I'm pretty sure our daughter will know something is up if we don't see it right away.

Hi everyone! We booked this cruise last week. My husband and I will be celebrating our 16th anniversary and we are super excited. This is cruise #9 for us. We were GTY status but our room got assigned today so are are pumped! We will not be participating in the FE's this time around as we will not have time to put anything together, but we look forward to meeting some fellow Diser's on the ship Soooooooo excited, cannot wait.

I am trying to join FE too but I haven't seen then list yet and am getting nervous that others may see our names on the list too late! Maybe we should sort a different "late FE" so all the newcomers can join and not throw off the others??

This is going to be so much fun, we are up to 7 families for the FE group! It will be nice having a smaller exchange since a bunch of us are first timers...

first time cruising with grandchildren, first time on a dis.board, and first time fe group. Our grandchildren are excited about this. Please don't feel like you need to get gifts for the adults in 12028. We just want to be grandparents. Looking forward to meeting everyone! See you on the 27th! Yay! Candy

Hi. I have created my fish extender today and I know to bring small gifts to participate. But I don't know what to do once we are aboard the ship. Do we just go wandering around looking for other FEs?? Or do we share our stateroom numbers? How do we actually "connect" with other participants??

Aquamarine108, the FE exchange for this cruise closed about 2 weeks ago and the list was sent out. They usually close about a month out giving participants time to make gifts and personalize them for the group.
The list includes names, ages and cabin #'s to assist everyone in making and giving the gifts. I can send you the list if you want but there is no guarantee on how many group members will be able to include you.
Why don't you post your cabin # and your family info on here for everyone to see. I always make extra gifts so I would be happy to include your cabin on my route. Please give this info asap. Thanks, Lena

Hi, just finished packing my FE gifts and cant wait to distribute it. We're still on a GTY status and no stateroom yet (TBA). They informed us that we might get it this week. Will send you updates...
