Just thought I would put this question out there having read threads on favourite hotels, airlines etc.

My question:

If money was no object, what would your ultimate trip consist of???

Don't worry, I havent won the lottery, but sometime like to wonder what the ultimate Florida holiday would be........................

hmmm tircky one: I may have several varations at this post lol./

Our family dream holiday would be, 2 weeks in Florida staying one week at Animal Kingdom Lodge and the second at Grand Floridan in a suite of course with a butler. ha ha
Golden Mouse passes (if they existed lol) so we could go to the front of every fast pass que.
The mouse would of course have breakfast with us everyday.
Exclusive use of Typhoon Lagoon - with my own personal male lifeguard :lmao:
Then fly over to California (never been) for a week there followed by
one week in Vegas - would need a baby sitter for DD 5 so we could gamble till our hearts content.
Then final week in New York - shopping and not having to pay extra luggage allowance when bringing home all our goodies.

Right that's my first dream holiday - monies no limit dream

Has it got to be just in Florida???
If so,
Then a week at Grand Floridian, with all the trimmings! Golf at each of the Disney courses! Lots of pampering!!! A week at AKL.. best of everything... golf at all our usual courses 'off site'. Lots of pampering and shopping!
A week near Clearwater/Tampa area, with a sea view in a 5 star hotel, again, with plenty of pampering! Golf in that area too!
A week down in Naples, serious expensive pampering down there!!!!!! Relax by the sea!! A few nights in the Keys. Visits to my favourite Key (Bahia Honda), and the Dolphin Research Centre (Marathon), with a few nights in Hemmingway country (Key West). Then Vero Beach for a few nights, up the coast to Titusville, where I'd like to do the 'astronaut for a day' 'gig'. Then finally a few nights in St. Augustine to play one of the best golf courses in Florida, and see a bit of true Floridian history!
Then again, if I could go outside of Florida...............

ok, If Moneys really no object, I'd fly first class with singapore airlines or Emirates (I'm chartering the whole flight for all my friends) so I might as well pick the best carrier! then personal limos to WDW, I think I'd spend a week in each of the AK, WL, GF and poly as I haven't stayed in any of them and they all look so fab, of course, we're looking at the best suites in each.
Everyone would be able to take their pick of the WDW tours and of course we'd have personal segways to use at all times!

We do our dream holiday 3 or 4 times a year.
Yes we could spend £20,000 on a "dream" holiday once a year 5*, luxury, pampered etc but that just does not interest us, much prefer 4 x £5,000 holidays and using our AP's to Disney, Universal and Sea World as much as we can.

We did our dream holiday last March, went to Australia for 28 days via HK (went to HKdisney) then off to Bondi and Sydney had a hotel with views of the OPera house, saw Olivia Newton John live there. Went to the Kylie Exhibition ( its now in London) visited friends in the wine valley region and Coffs harbour, went to Surfers Parsdise, and then to Port Douglas to do the Barrier reef had an apartment there with a spa on the balcony, then on to Singapore to stay at the Shangri La,
It cost a fortune, however we had more rain that we have ever had in Florida, there had been a Typhoon in Cairns before we arrived, the beaches were a shambles all debris and flies,
so this year off to WDW:cheer2:
So the moral is stick with what you know!!!

If it doesn't have to be Florida then I'd go to Richard Bransons Ulusaba for a week before going down to capetown for a week at boulders beach

If money was no object, then I would buy property abroad... one in Colorado for skiing and one somewhere hot (probably Florida or maybe the Caribbean...). Would do the occassional cruise and some more travelling too, but it would be great to have some more permanant holiday bases...

If money was no object I would pickup an A Class motorhome (the very large one from Meet The Fockers) after spending 3 days in San Franscico :hippie: and spend three weeks driving through the National Parks, out to the Grand Canyon before heading to Anaheim for a few days in Disney.:thumbsup2

I'm thinking of going to Australia next year. Would love to go via Hong Kong Disney, what was that like? Any tips for Oz?

For a 'Moneys no Object' Florida Holiday:

1 week at AKL Savannah View
4 days at one of the Universal Hotels
1 week on the Gulf Coast
1 week at one of the Epcot resorts

First class flights there and back :)

I would LOVE one of them and I would use it for the same things :thumbsup2

:yay:

I would spend a week at the Poly, a week staying at a 5* beach resort somewhere in Florida, back to the Beach Club for another 10 days, followed by a 4 day Disney cruise.

A Cat 1 stateroom on the DCL

A Cat 1 stateroom on the DCL

Is that a Royal Suite? They have Two bedroom (Cat 2) and One bedroom (Cat 3) Suites, don't they too? How much do suites cost on Disney? They never seem to give prices for the suites on cruise search engines and I am curious...

Mine would be:

1st class flights there and back
Limo from/to airport
1 week at the Boardwalk
1 week on the DCL, suite of course
2 nights at AKL, Savannah view
8 nights at GF, again a suite

But if money truly was no object it wouldn't be about the above so much it would mean that I could take my 4 nieces and 4 nephews to experience the magic if I could do that I'd happily stay at the ASM.

Upper class flights there and back
10 nights in Orlando (3 nights AKL, 3 nights Poly, 3 nights YC, 1 night PBH (Universal) followed by a 4 night Disney cruise
Then a final week somewhere on the coast/Miami to finish :goodvibes
Hey a girl can dream! ;)

Mine would be first class (Virgin) flights with limo transfers. I would stay one week in Grand Floridian, one in Poly and one in Contemporary (just to mix things up a bit :D). I'd visit nearly every restaurant and do ALL the rides as many times as possible!
I would then go to Disneyland in California for a bit, maybe a week, because I've never been before :D
WHo knows...EuroMillions tonight! :D:D
